Best place to stay if you have a dog. No pet deposit or deposit at all and the cookies are sooo good and they always have them!!
We stayed here over the weekend with our youth hockey team and booked a group room rate. While there were a few minor hiccups, the staff was quick to step in and smooth everything out. Erica in group sales was especially easy to work with and very helpful throughout the process. The staff was consistently friendly the entire stay. Check-in was quick, and the front desk team was always wishing the kids good luck and asking how the games went. I even had a really nice conversation with one of the desk staff members, which made the stay feel more personal. Breakfast was perfect for a hockey team—quick, easy, and kid-friendly before heading to the rink. The breakfast room is on the smaller side, but it was kept clean and well stocked. The cookies available in the lobby were also a big hit with the kids. The room showed a bit of wear and tear, but it was still very nice overall. I loved the vinyl flooring instead of carpet. The temperature control worked great, and the TV was excellent. We also enjoyed using the pool and fitness center. The fitness center isn’t large, but it has everything you need to get a workout in while traveling. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely stay here again.
I am honestly very thrown off by some of these reviews. My family and I stayed in room 209, the double queen bed suite. We were initially in a different room due to the bathroom smelling like smoke from a previous occupant of the room. The front desk handled it right away and moved us to a different room. The hotel was quiet, extremely clean and smelled amazing everywhere that I went. Yes, it isn't perfect. There's a few minor and normal issues in the bathroom that anyone's home could have. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. We got a hello anytime we came in, and a good morning when we went for breakfast. The breakfast room was well stocked and very clean. The breakfast attendant was also very friendly. My family and I used the pool. I don't think it is as cold as people are saying it was. The pool room was extremely warm which is probably why the water felt so cold. Overall our experience was awesome especially for the price.
I would just like to say what a great place! The hotel was clean , very accommodating the atmosphere was great. The management and workers were so great. Great breakfast in the morning, amazing coffee. I stayed here for the week for work everyone was so friendly, offers help at every turn. I highly recommend this place of your in the area. As I’m staying for work , I’m due to go back next week. I’m also gonna be here for the next few months , I will pick this place again and again.
Room was clean and price was decent, I was able to check in a little early and service was great. It's a little outdated and the 3rd floor smelled like pickel juice and vinegar. The full breakfast had good eggs and juice.
First time staying here. The room was great - booked a suite and it was very clean and comfortable. Due to the door between the living room and bed area, I could not hear the elevator which we were close to. Very quite and nice. As for the service, it was okay but they were busy and when I tried to make a simple change to my room reservation I got some flack which was frustrating. But the nice room was mostly what I wanted so still 5 stars. Oh, you should skip the breakfast. Didn't even eat there when I was there as it did not look good and there was not much. But go to the Rock on campus instead!
We really like Choice hotels and this was a very nice one. The location was perfect. Our king room was clean and comfortable. The woman at the front desk on 7-17-25 in am was exceptional. Breakfast was good. We will stay here again when in the area.
AMAZINGLY GREAT STAY!! Not sure if these other people actually stayed here, but I'm thinking about driving back 2 hours to get back here and stay again! LOVED IT. Felt like royalty for a very competitive price. I would walk down the stairs and was only missing "Hail to the Chief" while coming down as I felt like a US President. Will be back!! Joe
